• The International Real Estate Conference LEARN TO SUCCEED 2022 was held on September 20-22, 2022 in the House of the Army of Serbia and the Hotel Golden Tulip Zira in Belgrade.

      The welcome speech at the opening ceremony of the real estate conference in the House of the Army of Serbia was given by Andjela Roglić, head of the Group for Development of Services and the National brand of Serbia in the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications of the Republic of Serbia. She informed the participants about the results achieved by applying the Real Estate Brokerage Law and about curbing the shadow economy in this field. Borko Drašković, MA, the Director of the Republic Geodetic Authority, wished good work to the participants and spoke on the importance of the cooperation of the real estate brokers with the Republic Geodetic Authority. On behalf of the Association Real Estate Cluster, the participants were welcomed by the Chairman of the Governing Board Nenad Djordjević and Damir Borić, President of the Group of Real Estate Brokers in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, Secretary of the Trade Association of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia Žarko Malinović spoke about the activities of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia. Besides them, the participants were addressed by the Director of the Department for Competition and Investments of the NALED Dušan Vasiljević, Global Coordinator of the National Association Realtors for the Eastern Europe, Middle East, and North Africa Alina Aebi, CEO of SIRA Francis Jose Fernandez Ariza, President of the Mainstreet Organisation of Realtors (Chicago) John Le Tourneau, President of the Orlando Regional Realtor Association Tansey Soderstrom and President of the International Property Show Dubai Dawood Al-Shezawi. The meeting was moderated by Milorad Miša Ćirić, President of the Diaspora Group.

      After the opening ceremony Nenad Đorđević and Dawood Al-Shezawi signed in the House of the Army of Serbia the agreement on cooperation between the Association Real Estate Cluster and the „International Property Show Dubai“.

      The second day of the conference in the Hotel Golden Tulip Zira started with the workshop on the application of the Law on Prevention of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism. The Moderator of that workshop was the President of the Group of Real Estate Brokers in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, Damir Borić, and speakers were Daniela Tanić-Zafirović, Ministry of Finance, Head of the Department of Inspection of the Administration for Prevention of Money Laundering, Snežana Obrenov-Ivanović, Ministry of Trade, Tourism, and Telecommunications, Trade Market Inspection Sector, Coordinator in supervision of electronic services, Bojana Minić, Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, Trade Market Inspection Sector, Market Control Department, Market inspector for Service Control and Mr Saša Stefanović who spoke about records according to the Law on Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing.

      The Moderator of the workshop on Amendments on Real Estate Brokerage Law was Milić Djoković, MA, Vice-President of the Expert Council of Real Estate Cluster and speakers were Nenad Djordjević, Chairman of the Governing Board of Real Estate Cluster, Damir Borić, President of the Group of Real Estate Brokers in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, Nebojša Rapaić, Board member of the Group of Real Estate Brokers in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia and Marko Danon, Coordinator of the Expert group for countering of shadow economy of the Government of the Republic of Serbia. Mr. Milić Djoković held a presentation about on the Code of Ethics of Real Estate Brokers and about behavior and communications in real estate business. Dejan Vučinić, Network Executive Director at OTP Bank AD, gave a lecture on investment in real estate.

      The moderator of the workshop „Sell Faster “ was Ervin Pašanović, President of the Supervisiory Board of Real Estate Cluster and the speakers were Borislav Vujović, Vice-President of the Real Estate Association of the Croatian Chamber of Economy, Jelena Davidović, Head of the Project team of “Nekretnine.rs” and “Mojauto.rs” Ringier Serbia, Katarina Kuzmanović, the Director of “Sasomange.rs” Adria Media Group, Bojana Kovač, the Director of Red Queen Mediaset Digital Advertising Agency and prof. Predrag Vujović Ph.D., PR Business School. Dario Žgela, Dimedia Internet Technologies (Croatia) had a presentation „Five steps to a successful website, “and Slavko Bogdanović, business skills coach, had a presentation about time planning.

      The Moderator of the workshop on real estate sales and registration of the property rights – practices of the Republic Geodetic Authority (RGZ), novelties, regulations, the practice was Nenad Djordjević, Chairman of the Governing Board of Real Estate Cluster, and the speakers were Branislav Petrović, representative of Real Estate Cluster, Darko Vučetić, Acting Assistant Director of the Republic Geodetic Authority and Miloš Bjelanović, Head of the Department for second-instance procedure, Sector for Legal Affairs of the Republic Geodetic Authority.

      The third day of the conference in Hotel Golden Tulip Zira started with the workshop „Realtor – Brand as a road to success“. The Moderator of this workshop was Slaviša Pešić, Ph.D., president of the Global Business Council of the Real Estate Cluster, and the speakers were Alina Aebi, global coordinator of the National Association of Realtors for Eastern Europe, Middle East, and North
      Africa and Rosie Papagiannakis, the Ambassador of the National Association of Realtors for Serbia, Bulgaria, and Greece. Cliff Long, CEO the Orlando Regional Association of Realtors, gave a lecture entitled „Equip yourself for the success in real estate“. Lisa Hill, President-Elect of Orlando Regional Realtor Association and Zola Szerences, the Instructor of NAR courses, gave a lecture on international cooperation of Realtors in real estate sales. Francis Jose Fernandez Ariza, the Director of SIRA gave a lecture „Clients forever – How to get and retain loyalty. “

      The Moderator of the workshop „One story about success in real estate“ was Slaviša Pešić and the speaker was Giso Uyarmeli, Ambassador of the National Association of Realtors for Romania, Moldova and Georgia. Raj Rajpal, President of FIABCI USA spoke about the creating of an effective marketing plan. Member of the Expert Council of Real Estate Cluster Alicia Matheson had the presentation „Three strategic ideas to help grow your real estate business“.

      The moderator of the workshop „Doing real estate business in Serbia“ – how to attract foreign investors was Miroslav Cvetković, Vice-Chairman of the Governing Board of Real Estate Cluster and the speakers were Marko Selaković, Ph.D. head of the Office of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia in Dubai, Dejan Vuković, the Lawyer, Vice-President Property and Investment Alliance of NALED, Boris Pizzolito, the representative of „Opisas“, Luka Djedović, Head of Private banking in OTP Bank Serbia AD and Dragoslav Veličković, Expert for macroeconomic research and analysis of the Directorate for Global research, OTP Banka Srbija AD. John Le Tourneau, President of the Mainstreet Organization of Realtors (Chicago), gave a lecture about seller’s market.

      A PSA Course was held after the conference. The presenter was John Le Tourneau.

      Banquet for the conference participants, speakers, and guests was held in the House of Guard of the Army of Serbia in Belgrade (Topčider).
