The Real Estate Forum 2023 was held on September 21-22, 2023 at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia and in the Golden Tulip Zira hotel in Belgrade.
The welcome speech at the opening ceremony of the Real Estate Forum at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia was given by Žarko Malinović, Assistant Minister of Internal and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Serbia. He spoked about Draft Law on Amendments to the Real Estate Brokerage Law. Predrag Tešić, Assistant Minister of Trade and Tourism of the Republika Srpska spoked about the progress made in implementing the Real Estate Brokerage Law in the Republika Srpska, expressing satisfaction with the achievements in real estate the Republic of Serbia. Borko Drašković, MA, the Director of the Republic Geodetic Institute, highlighted the importance of collaboration between real estate brokers and the Republic Geodetic Institute and announced the Institute's support to legislative initiatives of the Association Real Estate Cluster. Nenad Đorđević,. On behalf of the Association Real Estate Cluster the participants were welcomed by the Chairman of the Governing Board Nenad Djordjević. Damir Borić, President of the Group of Real Estate Brokers in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia discussed the Chamber's activities. Besides them, the participants were addressed by the Director of the Department for Competition and Investments of the NALED Dušan Vasiljević, Dragan Milanović, the Chairman of the Governing Board the Association of Real Estate Brokers of the Republika Srpska, Rosie Papagiannakis, the Global Ambassador of the National Association of Realtors (NAR®) for Serbia, Bulgaria and Greece, Branko Potočnik, President of the Association of Real Estate Brokers in the Chamber of Commerce of Slovenia, Jasminka Biliškov, Deputy President of the Association of Real Estate Brokers in the Croatian Chamber of Commerce, Naida Ćerimagić, President of the Association of Real Estate Brokers in the Chamber of Commerce of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Veselin Dragaš, President of the Group of Real Estate Brokers in the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro and Franc Gerbec, Honorary Member of FIABCI Slovenia.
The second day of the conference in the Hotel Golden Tulip Zira started with the workshop on the Amendments on Real Estate Brokerage Law was Milić Djoković, MA, Vice-President of the Expert Council of Real Estate Cluster and speakers were Nenad Djordjević, Chairman of the Governing Board of Real Estate Cluster, Damir Borić, President of the Group of Real Estate Brokers in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, and Marko Danon, Coordinator of the Expert group for countering of shadow economy of the Government of the Republic of Serbia.
Milić Djoković held a presentation “To stay or to over live?”.
The Moderator of the workshop on Real Estate Brokers Escrow account and experience of the Republic of Slovenia in this field was the representative of the Real Estate Cluster Branislav Petrović. Speakers at this workshop were Franz Gerbec, Hnorary Member of FIABCI Slovenia and Predrag Ćatić, Legal affairs specialist in the Association of Serbian Banks.
Dejan Vučinić, Network Executive Director at OTP Bank AD and Vladimir Ćosić, the Director of the Department for Management of Alternative Sales Channels of this bank gave a lecture “In the the partnership to additional income for Real Estate Brokers”.
In the afternoon was held a workshop on application of the Law on Prevention of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism. The Moderator of that workshop was the President of the Group of Real Estate Brokers in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, Damir Borić, and speakers were Jelena Pantelić, Public Prosecutor's Office for Organized Crime of the Republic of Serbia, Financial Forensic Officer, Coordinator of the National Risk Assessment of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing, Mirjana Damjanović, Ministry of Domestic and Foreign Trade, Market Inspection Sector, Head of the Market Control Department, Prevention of Unfair Competition and Consumer Protection, Sonja Randjelović, Ministry of Domestic and Foreign Trade, Market Inspection Sector, Market Control Department, Market Inspector-Coordinator for Goods and Service Control and Saša Stefanović, MA.
Gordan Sau, the representative of Dimedia Internet Technologies had a presentation about the digital marketing in real estate.
The Moderator of the workshop „Smart sales“ was Ervin Pašanović, President of the Supervisiory Board of Real Estate Cluster and the speakers were Borislav Vujović, Vice-President of the Real Estate Association of the Croatian Chamber of Economy, Jelena Davidović, Head of the Project team of “Nekretnine.rs” and “Mojauto.rs” Ringier Serbia, Katarina Kuzmanović, the Director of “Sasomange.rs” Adria Media Group, Bojana Kovač, the Director of Red Queen Mediaset Digital Advertising Agency and Vladimir Vasić, Finance, Banking and Marketing Consultant.
The Moderator of the workshop on the cooperation of the Republic Geodetic Institute with the real estate brokers was Nenad Djordjević, Chairman of the Governing Board of Real Estate Cluster and the speakers were Darko Vučetić, Acting Assistant Director of the Republic Geodetic Authority, Miloš Bjelanović, Head of the Department for second-instance procedure, Sector for Legal Affairs of the Republic Geodetic Authority and Jasmina Radovanović, NALED, the Head of Property and Investment Unit.
Cocktail Party for the real estate forum participants, speakers and guests was organized in Bitef Art Café in Belgrade.
The Summit of the Associations of Real Estate Brokers of Southeast Europe was held in Golden Tulip Zira hotel before the Real Estate Forum. The participants of this Summit were the members of the Association Real Estate Cluster and the representatives of all Associations of Real Estate Brokers from former Yugoslavia i.e. from Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina (Republic of Srpska and Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina) and Montenegro. A successful regional cooperation has been developed between associations from Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro in the past ten years. In addition to representatives of associations from the area of the former Yugoslavia, representatives of the National Association of Realtors (NAR®) from the USA, Rosie Papagiannakis, NAR® Global Ambassador for Serbia, Greece and Bulgaria and Slaviša Pešić, PhD, Global Ambassador of NAR® for Eastern Europe also participated in the summit. NAR® is the largest trade association in the US, with over 1.67 million members. It was founded in 1908th in Chicago. NAR® has 106 partnering associations in 77 countries and one of them is the Association Real Estate Cluster.
