Žarko was born on March 3, 1982 in Jajce (Bosnia and Herzegovina). By profession he is a Master Manager. He passed his master's thesis on the topic: "Strategies of customer loyalty of megamarkets in the RS" at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, Belgrade University under the mentorship of prof. Vesna Damnjanović, PhD.
Since July 2016th he has been the Secretary of the Trade Association of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In his previous career he performed managerial duties in the private and public sector. In the Government of the Republic of Serbia he held the position of acting Assistant Minister for Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, Special Advisor to the Minister, as well as General Commissioner of the Republic of Serbia for EXPO 2015 Milan and EXPO 2017 Astana. He is also one of the authors of the theme of the candidacy of the Republic of Serbia to host the specialized world exhibition EXPO 2027 under the name: "Play for humanity, sport and music for all". He has many years of experience as a consultant in the areas of marketing, strategic and business planning.
He speaks English and is the father of three children.
